My oldest nephew Gabe turned 5!!! My sister in law asked me to make a pirate cake. Both tiers are carrot cake with cream cheese frosting filling. It is covered with white fondant. The red stripes and the balls at the base are fondant. The pirate skull on the top of the cake is cut out of fondant. The trail and the number 5 are piped on with buttercream frosting.
