Amy and Mike's Wedding Cake

Scott's cousin Amy got married and asked us to make the cake.  It was a unique design and I loved how it turned out...I think she did too.  The tree is made out of modeling chocolate and worked great!
Bottom tier is a 14" Vanilla Bean cake with a raspberry filling.  The second is a 12" carrot cake with cream cheese frosting filling.  Then the 10" is a chocolate cake with oreo filling and finally the 8" is a vanilla bean cake with raspberry filling.

Amy provided the birds for the topper.  They were so cute, one said "I'm her Mr." the other "I'm his Mrs."

Congratulations to Mike and Amy!  Good luck with the move to Colorado and the new marriage! :)  Thanks for the fun wedding and dancing!

Mason's 4th Birthday Superhero Cake

My best friends boy, Mason, turned 4 and he wanted a Superhero cake!!!  Now before anyone starts to criticize, I know these superhero's don't fit together in one category...but they are his favorites, so that's what I did!
His most favorite is "Captain in America"  Next is Spiderman.   He mentioned so many, I had to pick a few and go with it.
 SPIDERMAN!!!
Batman light signal thing...I don't know what it's called :)
Wolverine.  Wicked looking claws!
 Superman!

 The HULK!
I have to admit, the reason I love making cakes...for the reactions!  Mason just said "WHAT?!!"  It was so cute!  Then all the other kids came over and couldn't get enough of it.  Love it!
Happy 4th Birthday Mason!  You are such a superhero stud!!
