50th Birthday cake

By far the funniest cake I have been asked to make.  It started with a different idea, but when I saw something similiar to this, I threw out the idea and went with it.

 I was having so much fun with this cake, I added a few hidden gems to see if they would be seen...missing buttons on the old man's shirt, hair growing out of his ears, shoes on backwards...

 His birthday and party was on Tuesday, and I had to design my own "depends" diapers.  I had an edible print made to go on the front.  I think it turned out pretty awesome!

 By far, the dentures were the easiest part for me to make.  I was liking them so much I had to send pictures to my brother who is a dentist to see what he thought!

All in all I think it went over quite well.  I had my dad quite concerned, he kept saying "I think you are enjoying this too much.  You must be picturing me while making this cake!" 

Lindsay and Kolby's Wedding Cake

 I have loved the look of this cake from the day I first saw it, so when Lindsay asked me to make it for her wedding day, I was excited!

3 Tier Ruffle Cake!  Blueberry Lemon, Strawberry and Chocolate layers. The cake is covered with layers of fondant ruffles!  I love the little pop of color with the real flower (not sure what kind of flower that is...) but I love how it turned out.
